I have an issue...

I work for a company and recently got promoted to SDE/Sharepoint admin. I worked for about 1 year as a help desk analyst and was made a sharepoint admin recently and have been working on our site. They had me under the impression they were creating a job position for me working as sharepoint admin. We just recently lost our Service Desk Admin and they made me the new one. I received no increase or title change. I sent a concerned email to my supervisor but he pretty much avoided answering any of my concerns and kept saying that it is a great oppurtunity

I;m trying to sync my Blackberry with Outlook so it updates emails, contacts, etc, automatically when I;m out

I'm so confused! I'm reading about all of these things like Microsoft exchange server, Microsoft sharepoint, buying licenses, using 1and1.com, etc., and I have no idea how to use my Blackberry while I am out of the home office so that when I update a contact or my calendar, it syncs with my Outlook at home so I have one central database that my assistant can access as well. Please help! Can anyone explain what I need to do to make this work without spending $1,000 on a license? Thanks!

I am web designer for a large financial corporation. I am looking for some ideas for a name for our web designers' MS Sharepoint community site we have established. This site is basically a centralized place to where our group of designers can discuss issues relating to design, view web patterns/standards, access designer resources, view design community calendar events, etc. I have come up with a few names, but was wondering if any of you might have some ideas to share.

How do I use Outlook 2007 collaboratively to share tasks, notes, calendars, etc. amongst multiple people

I just got Office 2007 Ultimate, thrilled that it would allow for collaboration. But I cannot figure out the best way to create shared folders for tasks, notes, calendars, etc. I read about SharePoint, but that looks like it requires additional, expensive server software. Then I set up MS Groove which seems great, but I've found no clear way to integrate it with Outlook. Do I have to switch over to Groove's clunky interface in order to access such shared items? Or is there some way to create folders in Outlook which are set up to be shared via Groove? Or is there some other way to collaborate in Outlook 2007 which I'm just missing? Help!
